Additional centimeters around your median section cause more health problems than you think. Excess abdominal fat can indicate a greater problem – visceral fat, a type of fat that wraps around your organs and is linked to heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, increased blood pressure, Alzheimer’s disease, and more. Visceral fat is bad for your overall health, but the good news is with diet and exercise, it can be reduced. By including certain foods in your daily diet, you can nourish your body and also the lower belly fat. Here are seven foods that can help you get closer to your fitness goals and reveal a thinner and healthier in 30 days, according to Mary Sabat MS, RDN, LD, who is also a personal coach.

There are so many delicious ways to eat avocados and according to Sabat, it is one of the foods that help burn abdominal fat. “Avocats are loaded with monounsaturated fats which help reduce inflammation and can directly target belly fats linked to insulin resistance,” she said. “They are also rich in fiber, which promotes satiety and helps regulate appetite throughout the day.” She adds: “Try adding avocado in slices to salads, mixing in smoothies or spreads on germinated grain toast for satisfactory snack.”
Salmon Reduced Sauvage

The salmon is not only rich in protein, but it is good to reduce unwanted pounds around your waist. According to Sabat, “salmon provides high quality proteins and anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids like EPA and DHA, which have proven to reduce visceral fats and improve metabolic health.” She says: “Figettes of salmon to grill or cook a few times a week, or use canned wild salmon for fast salads or lettuce envelopes.”
Leafy greens

Green leafy vegetables such as spinach, curly cabbage and Swiss card beets are not only an excellent base for salads or a tasty side for an entrance, but the fatty fat of the belly. “These low -calorie and high volume vegetables are filled with fiber, magnesium and antioxidants that help reduce bloating and improve digestion,” says Sabat. “Fiber helps you feel full and nourished without adding excessive calories.”
Chia seeds

Chia seeds are a small powerful nutritive punch which is filled with so much goodness. “Chia seeds are rich in soluble fibers and omega-3 fats, which helps reduce inflammation, stabilize blood sugar and slow the desires,” says Sabat. “When they are soaked, they form a gel -shaped texture that helps you keep you full longer.” She adds: “Stir a tablespoon in the oat of one night, mix in smoothies or mix with almond milk and berries for a pudding with chia rich in fibers.”
Eggs raised to pasture

It is not a secret that eggs are full of protein and good for you, which is why Sabat recommends integrating them into your diet. “Eggs are a high-level source of complete protein and essential nutrients like choline, which supports fat metabolism,” she said. “Eating protein -rich meals like eggs can help slowdown the appetite and preserve lean muscle mass during fat loss.” Sabat adds: “Enjoy hard eggs like a snack, scrambled eggs for breakfast or add them to salads for a protein boost.”
100% Greek yogurt fed with grass

Greek yogurt is another essential for burning belly fat, by Sabat. “This fermented food full of protein supports both lean muscular growth and intestinal health – two factors that can improve body composition and reduce belly fats,” she said. “Look for unwells with living cultures.” Sabat adds: “Natural Greek yogurt to the head with bays and flax seeds for breakfast, or mix with herbs for a high protein salted dip.”
Green tea

Known for its unique taste and multiple health benefits, green tea can help weight loss, according to Sabat. “Green tea contains caffeine and a powerful antioxidant called EGCG, which can increase thermogenesis (burning fat) and targets abdominal fat,” she explains. “It is also moisturizing and can be a good replacement for sugary drinks.” She adds: “sip 1 to 2 cups per day, hot or frozen, and try to replace your coffee in the afternoon with a matcha latte.”
